Our staff at the Mossbourne Sixth Form firmly believe that the opportunity to development of cultural and personal interests support your university applications is an important part  for your journey to your chosen pathway. As such, a varied and exciting Enrichment Programme is offered that will support you in becoming articulate, confident young adults with experience outside of the classroom.

We want our students to love learning and wholly encourage participation in extra-curricular activities, including from a vast array of Sports, including the Mossbourne Rowing Academy, Chess Club, Film Club, The Debating Society, The Medical Society or yoga and rock climbing. This list is extensive but not final.

Wednesday afternoons are dedicated to our Enrichment Programme. Every Wednesday, from lunch time, Year 12 students are ‘off timetable’ to participate in a range of extra-curricular activities. Guest Speakers

Our Year 12 students are extremely lucky to have access to, and personally meet,  a variety of highly acclaimed professionals who come into the Clivebourne Sixth Form, weekly. Our guests deliver university style lectures and give Year 12 students the opportunity to question and probe them about the choices they made to enter into their chosen fields and the minutiae and realities of their careers. Past guests have included Matthew Barzun, the U.S Ambassador to the UK,  acclaimed BBC Newsreader George Alagiah, Edward Griffiths the Former South African Rugby Coach and anaesthetist Helgi Johanason.
